My review:

Atmosphere - 5/10: The atmosphere was okay in this level. It was undoubtedly unique, as I don't think I've ever seen a level that looked like this before. However, many of the graphics were bland because they were so dark. It made the level look a little bad. You did make up for it with the nice decoration though, and good use of sizables. Another problem I had was that the enemies were all normally colored which didn't fit with the other graphics. I don't think you should darken them as much because they'd blend in too well, but just darken them a little to make them fit in better. The music fit alright but it was nothing special, really.

Placement - 9/10: You did a really nice job placing things in the level. As I said above, the level was well decorated. The enemies were also laid out perfectly to make the level have a very fair difficulty. I don't really have any complaints here, except that the sky looked really bare and empty at times. I'm not sure that there are many options to fix that, but I guess you could use clouds if you could recolor them nicely or sizables to fill the space.

Gameplay - 6/10: The level was kind of fun. It was really simple, with no real gimmicks or anything. But I can see why there was nothing like that because the level was really basic and short, so I'm assuming it'd be placed in the first world of the game. The level was never tedious or anything, but mostly because it was so short, but it never had any creative ideas but into it that affected the gameplay. The obstacles were fair, though, so it was pretty enjoyable.

Design - 5/10: The design was very simple and straightforward, with not too many different paths to take or different directions to travel. I saw a secret that led to a second section, but I didn't understand how to get into it by breaking the blocks. Also, there were some really flat parts in the level, especially in the part at the end where the exit was. I guess there was an alright variation of obstacles, though, and the level wasn't badly designed. It was just really simple.

Overall - 6.25/10: I thought this was a decent level. It had interesting graphics and it was pretty fun, despite its simplicity and shortness. Nothing really stood out other than the graphics, but it was still an enjoyable level.

Approved.
