Im not sure if this has been posted before (searched and didn't find anything) but if you do the Lakitus are throwing Lakitus trick, you can find a little tank which mario can ride on. Its similar to the clown car but kind of weird, its even weirder that you can pass through solid objects.





Is this like a beta element that was cut from the game or something that was supposed to be included before redigit stopped developing SMBX?

It's more like a Airship Piece that it supposed to work with Attach to Layers with that but it surely is buggy to utulize such things like that since surely it is cut it off late in developement for 1.3. Maybe we have the ability to add some codes to it but it is still a buggy NPC.

Yeah it's buggy. I suggest not to use it except for playing with it yourself.

I don't know, if you have the right level design for it, attaching this to blocks or even just giving it a reskin can turn out fairly well. It's a great alternative to using the Clown Car, especially when it isn't a hard-coded graphic, plus the Clown Car is a little OP in my opinion.

Wasn't it used as a magic carpet in ToB7?
