how do i take screenshots. which button is it?

While your SMBX Window is active, press F12 to create a screen in the screenshots folder. This works on both the Level Editor and the main Game.

Normally the screenshot Folder is inside the SMBX Folder where every SMBX's Elements need like graphics, sound and music.

If F12 doesn't work and you don't hear the ping that signals you've taken a screenshot, then the screenshots folder isn't there (usually the case if you downloaded SMBX 1.3.0.1 without upgrading from 1.3). If that's the case, just make a new folder in the SMBX folder called "screenshots". This will allow you to take screenshots with F12.

i have tried. but it just didint. i tried to make a folder but nope

To make a new folder, Right button of the mouse > New > Folder.

Do this in the SMBX folder and call the folder "screenshot".

i did that but nothing happend when i tried to press F12. have i missed something? or is it that i did something wrong or did i mix something up.

You can use Snipping Tool. It comes default with Windows.

You need to call the folder "screenshots" not "screenshot". Christian07 must have missed something. Then it should work.

You could try pressing the print screen button and then pasting the picture into Paint or something.
