Looks a bit weird, but it could be found useful in desert or grasslands. What does it replace?

It replaces the SMB3 Spiny.

That looks awesome, mainly due to the fact it is really imaginative. I can definitely find a use for this in the Pipe Maze world of my episode. It's also good because it give an alternative to using normal Piranha Plants, which gives a bit more variety. This particular Piranha Plant reminds me of the vines in SMG. Also, a custom enemy like this needs a name, it is way too weird and wonderful to not have one.

Makes me think of old Sci-Fi movies for some reason.
On-topic, this is actually really well-made. Good job! The twisty vines really complete its plant-animalistic appearance.

Looks really good, would use this. Oh and a really good name would be to call these guys "Piranha Stalkers".
