And now, we wait for everybody to go to Greninja~

Is it best of 3, or are we doing 1 match decides all? Is it 4 stock, or is it 2 stock? Is there a time limit to each match?
I should also mention that I have to leave at 6 PM, so if we're starting at 3 PM, we should be good as long as we keep moving.
Also, next time, don't do Sunday, but do Saturday. I can guarantee that I will lag during my matches tomorrow because my dad will be getting ready for work by watching his news source videos, which are crucial to his radio show that he hosts at 6 PM.

If you lose, you will be moved to the losers' bracket. If you lose again, you're eliminated. In the match, the one who loses is eliminated and the other will be the champion.
All matches will be 4 stock, 8 minutes. Winners' bracket is no items and omega stages only, and losers' bracket is all items and regular stages. The final battle will be no items, omega forms, 4 stock, 8 minutes. I don't expect the matches to be too long.

4 stock 8 minutes is ridiculous for this game. this isn't melee.

Would 2 stock 4 minutes do better for you? I honestly don't care either way. As long as people are on board.

i think for glory rules (2 stock 5 minutes) or 3 stock 7 minutes are the best. 4 Stock 8 minutes is way too many. Large blast zones means that sudden death or time outs are extremely likely. That and anyone who gets a KO advantage can easily run down the clock with little trouble.
I also think there should be rules in regards to what omega stages can be chosen as some varieties benefit characters with a walljump/cling.

Yeah. Not only would it be shorter than a 4 stock match (quite a few of us participants are on a schedule, so it seems), but it would also allow for easier comebacks. If you have 2 stocks left and your opponent has 4, there's not really much chance that you could catch up (also because if you're at that level, your opponent must be really good at reading your moves). Knowing that, it would also make the matches more exciting to watch, because you don't know if the one in the lead could slip up and find himself at 100% with one stock left. I suppose at this point I'm just rambling, but all-in-all, since this game has virtually no techs that Smashboards and other communities have discovered as of yet (not to mention the removal of wavedashing, lol), this game has nowhere near the same, interesting environment that Melee does have that requires a prolonged play time (4 stocks, 8 minutes) to get a fair match. As a result, the 1-on-1 For Glory rules fit this tournament quite nicely (2 stocks, 5 minutes).
Dangit you ninja'd me like 3 minutes ago and I'm only now figuring out how much time a For Glory 1on1 gives since I never pay attention to it.
Also, I'm opposed to 3 stocks as well, since there's a definite, scary advantage at a 1 to 3 moment.

Right, right. I was pretty tired yesterday going left and right on things. I'm not really sure what I was thinking with 4 stock matches. XD
