I'll drop out for now. My dad took away my 3DS again.

I'll say when I can re-enter but can you please reserve my Samus slot for the time being?

You signed up as Shulk. Another problem is that MurphMario has already signed up as Samus.
You can reserve Shulk if you want, however.

You can now sign up for an already claimed character as a substitute if that user does not show for his or her match in time.

The tournament will officially start at 3PM EST. On Saturday the bracket list will be put up. Remember that you must be present for your match on November 2nd at the time your match is set. If you cannot attend your match at that time for important reasons, PM me beforehand and I will rearrange the brackets accordingly to your best convenience.
Second off, I have decided to loosen the one user to a character rule. Anyone can choose who they want, but please note the following changes:
Bold means you can and will be attending this tournament.
Italics means you are unsure if you can attend this tournament. You are to PM me before the bracket list is put up to be a valid participant(I might also let you PM me before the tournament if time persists).

If you already signed up, you are allowed to change your fighter.

I guess we will need everyone's friend code to compete, right? I'm using Mario because I have playing as Mario since Brawl, and I played as him a lot in Smash N64.

That would be the case, yes. You can either do that on your own time or on tournament day.

How long do you plan on doing these tournaments? I plan on getting a 3DS and my copy of Sm4sh around Christmas, so I'll want to play.

3DS tournaments will run every week until after Christmas, when the first WiiU tournament will be held. 3DS tournaments will then occur every other week. The same thing will apply to the WiiU version. Tournaments for both versions, of course, will never occur on the same week.

Also, we will meet at #smbxgames on StarNet. Here you will be indicated when you need to join the host room for your match.
