What is this?
In basic, a tournament for Smash 3DS that will start on Sunday, November 2nd at 3PM EST. Anyone in this community is welcome to participate by joining in this thread.
Sign-ups will last until Friday, October 31st. The brackets for the corresponding matches will then be put up the following day.

Rules?
The tournament will be double-elimination. If you don't know what that means, look it up. Winners bracket will be 1v1, no-items, Omega mode, random stage. Losers bracket will be 1v1, all items, normal mode, random stage.
Each participant will, when they join, choose one character from the roster that they will use for the entire tournament. If your character is unlockable, it is your responsibility to have them unlocked in time for your match. Custom movesets are not allowed in this tournament.
Most match times will be accommodating EST. If you are drastically off of EST and tend to be inflexible time wise, please don't join. PM me if you need a specific time arranged and I will keep the spot open for you.

I'm going to leave rules of this tournament the way that Ignoritus had them(just to try it out). If people aren't joining/not happy because of users only being limited to claiming a single character, then I will bend that rule and let everyone choose whoever they want.

Input lag isn't going to be solved by restarting a match, lag is caused by poor internet connections on someone's end.

Like qig said, selfdestructing won't fix the lag on one's end. Chances are that you'll have to deal with the lag(unless its really, truly that bad).
