Laser barrier lava replacement

I need a laser to replace lava blocks 459, 460, 461, 462, and 463. HOWEVER I don't want just a straight beam, I need the laser to be jagged like a beam of electricity.
I found a picture with a bunch of metroid beams earlier, and I cropped out two from it that fit the style I'm looking for, feel free to use them as an example or the replacement itself.
Other than that I just need them to be grey scale, as in black and white, to fit with the theme I'm going for.
If someone could do this for me I would be grateful.
