Just a fun little thread that came to mind. Why don't we discuss music? No flaming about others choices though (not trying to backseat moderate but hey). I'll start
My favourite genre is metalcore (subgenre of metal, a mixture of melodic death metal with some hardcore punk elements like breakdowns, clean vocals, etc) and my favourite band from that genre is Killswitch Engage
Now you go

I like J-Rock and J-Pop, and almost anything upbeat, definitely upbeat stuff for me, so J-rock is definitely up there on my list since it's upbeat (yeah, I don't listen to American rock or whatever). I used to listen to Trance back then but not so much anymore, I've grown to like songs with lyrics finally since I used to neglect it back when I listened to Trance. I don't really listen to much songs/artists though only because I don't feel like searching for some, I'd look up suggestions if given probably, but otherwise, I won't really bother.

I like a very specific kind of electronic, electronic funk, p-funk, that kind of stuff, Anything, that has the the 90-80's funk in it and I don't just listen to it in english as it also comes in Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Japanese. Here's one example that describes it
very well. I also like latín, as in Mariachi, Cumbia, Merengue, Corridos(a little), duranguense, and more that a Latin American would surely know. Lastly, I like the music Animé's have, like the one in my signature.

I love J-Rock. That's pretty much the only genre of music I listen but I never get bored of it. I used to listen to english pop-rock bands before, but it never got me so much.

Most adolescents have a real complicated music taste, so do I. I listen to a variety of genres so it's extremely hard to name one. But I do have a certain favorite artist. They are a post-rock band from Iceland, called Sigur Rós ("Victory rose" for Icelandic, I know it's not gramatically correct but it was an Icelandic word play if I recall correctly), they combine the basic post-rock stuff with classical and minimalist aspects which turns out pretty great. If you guys are looking for something different, check them out, my recommendation is their second album as it's my (and lots of the fans') personal favorite.
