People use SMB3-Styled SMW Koopas a lot. Now we can do it the other way around! Beta goomba not included.

The shells are weird, but other than that they're good.

SMB/SMB3 koopas have 4 legs like a real turtle

Also, about SMB/SMB3-koopas I have thing: they are similar to turkey-cocks, and need only recolor them to get turkey-cocks instead of koopas

They look nice. The shell kinda looks like a cloak on them, but they look better than the ones in SMW.

You just modified the SMW Koopa instead of directly modifying the SMB3 one, that's why the shell is so weird. I honestly do not find myself too fond of this graphic. The idea was neat, yet the result I see here doesn't really cover up my expectations.

Should I try making my own version of this or will it just end up even worse?

i find the SMW-Beta koopa works fine for this purpose

You didn't waste your time on this, it's a great custom and it shows that you put effort on making this. You just have to make some corrections on the shell.
