The base of this is a Flurry?

Wow those actually look realy cute, I can see that they kinda have the shape of a Flurry, but they still look unique, might use them in the future! :D

Also I agree with AirSeus, maybe make the feet a different color.

Never seen something like that, it's an creative idea.
I kinda agree, it looks like a potato. Maybe try recoloring them in orange or something.

Maybe they're said to be SMB2 styled because it looks like a Flurry. I wasn't sure it was a Goomba, I though it was a recolor of a Flurry.

This is one strange Goomba we have here. Very different but also strange for that kind of theme in my opinion. It do looks nice though so good work with that.

Yeah but the outline isn't really SMB2

Well, as I think most people have noticed these look a bit like flurrys
thats because, I got the SMB2 Flurry sprite and edited it a bit to make it look
like a goomba.

It doesn't really matter if it looks like another enemy, it matters that you took your time making it.

This is pretty clever! Try coloring it with colors taken from a SMB2 sprite.

I like the custom face, but if I were you I'd make the face area have lighter colors.

How do they look like turds, Turds don't have faces, neither do rocks, and look,
this is the palette I used and the SMB3 Goomba palette
ImageThe one on the left is mine and he one on the right is SMB3
