Design Usage:
The whole design of this Level was ok. We are inside a Ghost House with SMB2 Enemies, Coins and Mushroom Power Ups. Music was fitting but the Level itself was short and on a very high difficulty. There are Areas were you have to go on the side of the screen in order to get further on on this Level. Was nice but not always visible. At least we have different Sections to play with but nothing really to explore on though like Secrets. At the beginning of the vertical Section there is a Latter that can leads you offscreen at the bottom. It seems like that something is down there but no, you lose a 1UP as usual. You shouldn't lead the Ladder completly at the bottom of the Screen. Later on there are Spikes that are hard to avoid due to limited amount of Space to jump over it. Make the Area a bit bigger so the player can jump over it more properly. Then there was a place where you have to force to use spinjump on these Boos. What happenes if you play this Level as Peach or Link? It's physically impossible to get up there easily. In general you should not force to use spinjump. There are no invisible blocks what so ever too. At the end of the vertical Section there is a jump that is physically, and I mean, physically impossible to jump over Spikes:

Yeah, it is very impossible so you absolutely need to have at least a Mushroom to keep it. Very bad. At least after that the Level Ends but still. At least you put background objects in so it isn't all that empty so this was good.
NPC Placements:
NPC Placements was not what I really respected on this Level. Enemy Placements was ok but sometimes it is just too much to handle for a narrow place like this. Others it can be too many of them especially by the Ghost due to that. Coin Placements was, again, only ok. There was a good amount of Coins around this Level but at the first Section there were Coins just hanging under the Pit. It seems like that you can jump down there to collect Coins but in reality it destroys you, means you lose a 1UP. This is entirely unfair to the Player, even for a Ghost House. Power Up Placements was decent enough for a short Level. Oh and in the Vertical Section I see a green climbable Vine. We have a blue one too so I would of use that instead as it fits more to this Level.
