I hav been playing on smw latley and I thought of making a smw styled smw episode in smbx, basically a smbx episode that looks like the smw level design, not to detailed, not to boring and not to hard ether, would it be possible and would you like it?

Why don't you look at this?

Many other SMW episodes were made, not only that.

Possible? Yeah. If I'd like it? Well, it depends. If it has very boring design and gameplay, I wouldn't play it, but if it's something like the one I pointed out, I'd play it.

Of course it is possible since you have SMW Elements in SMBX. You have infinite amount of ideas as of how to make a SMW Styled Game.

I actually thought that one was too complicated level design (too many slopes, too long levels, etc.) compared to SMW.

Complicated is a normal thing we have in any Level Editor standards especially for finding new stuff like replication from the real SMW to SMBX.

Like I said: SMW LEVEL DESIGN STYLE, which means not too DETAILED not SMBX LEVEL STYLE!

What the fuck do you have wrong with me? Seriously, every time I make a post, you get butthurt and make a dumb post where the purpose is only trying to make my argument false.

Anyways, SMW styled levels are possible in SMBX, of course. And also, really SMBX, a mario level editor, have a level style?
Last thing, you didn't say those things in your first post.

Even Valtteri said he made all the custom slopes and BGOs to appease people who didnt like SMW level style.

Calm down bro.
Original SMW levels didnt or almost never had any Screnery, and almost no Coins in it.
Most people here,WANTS that theres a bush or a flower at every freaking single block.
So most would dislike it if they play the level.

I did. And also, explain what did you mean, because I didn't understand it. Also calm down, I didn't do nothing wrong and you're overreacting.

Why do people ask if they should do it. Aren't you people old enough to decide things on your own or are you shy.

Hey, did you know episodes like that are possible and many have already been created?

Return to Dinosaur Land by Valtteri is one, go try it out.

It's nothing new and to be honest I doubt it would surprise anyone and make them applaud and go "what an original idea!", all of those have been used up now.

But did you know that a less detail = lower quality? Why the hell would you want to make a SMBX episode with the quality of SMW levels (which is generic mind you)?

SMW is the only Mario game out of the 5-7 I own I 100 percent cleared (I got all the ace coins in SMB2 but not the Yoshi eggs), bad game huh?

I never said SMW was a bad game, it's actually my favorite game next to SMB3 out of all the Nintenderp games I own. But if you compare the SMW SMBX episodes to normal SMW, the SMBX ones are clearly more detailed and receive better reviews. Making a simple, less detailed SMW SMBX episode is going to garner you with less good reviews. Making generic SMW levels in SMBX is actually what we don't want, so yeah.

What about the smb3 remake, smb3 was less detailed than smbx so why dont you want the smw level design which would be more detailed than smb3?

Go back to a SMBX Episode called The Invasion, this Game was very simplistic by it's design because it was on a high developement standards by the creator and still it is a enjoyable game, even know there are design choicements that aren't the best anyway but still. I even made a Topic for it: http://www.smbxgame.com/forums/v ... =69&t=4626

Afterwards, there are The Princess Cliche and The Great Castle Adventure. Both SMBX Episodes were added while SMBX was on Version 1.1 (where a lot of things were added such as Yoshis, Veggies, Zelda Enemies and much more...). The Princess Cliche was a SMBX Episode made by the same who made The Invasion but on a shorter Game yet still simplistic Design choice. The Great Castle Adventure was made by @Zach (right now @krazykoopa) and @Zephyr and it was a SM64 Styled Game but more related to SMBX (combination on SMB, SMB2, SMB3, SMW, Z2, ...). I still find this SMBX Episode very nice and it was challenging.

All of these older SMBX Episodes I have mentioned does not have custom graphics what so ever and they are still enjoyable to play in my opinion.

Coming along with SMBX Version 1.2, there is The Invasion 2, a more updated Version of The Invasion. The design has been changed for the most and it has custom graphics included. Very enjoyable since on the Update, there are a lot more variety even with Water to swim with, climbable tiles to climb on and more Power Ups to optain.

During The Invasion 2, there is another SMBX Episode called The Princess Cliche. This one has been updated with custom graphics and more variety during gameplay like at the beginning you get infinite Mushrooms from a Block which to me it was still Clever.

This was basically just an History of older Games that has less content in it but still very enjoyable to play them.

So. @AirSeus, you are allowed to make an SMW Themed Game as long as it is enjoyable like what I have mentioned at the older Games up there. You have, like I said before, infinite amount of variety to make and it doesn't really matter if other Members like it or not. It is all your choice for making a regular Mario Game. Sure, there are criticisms here and there and they are acceptable to have but still, it is all your choice. It must be enjoyable at least since discovering older Games like SMB was still very enjoyable even know it is old. This is why I am making my own SMB type Game in SMBX but that is a bit of an spoiler for the future.
