This will cause the community as a whole to get worse at level design and it might, in the most extreme of cases, cause an elite designer like Kyo or Chad to make a joke level.
Um.... that's why rules get put in place, so nothing like this should ever happen!

You guys are really thinking too much into this.
Joke levels aren't allowed. We all know what joke levels are. Don't post them.

But there are multiple classes of joke levels.

Look at me I'm Kyo since everyone is making joke levels I feel compelled to make a joke level. I'll make sure to dumb down my design to appeal to the sensitivities of people who make joke levels.

Do I have to underline, red text, large text this so that you stop trying to weasel out of this ban?
Stop talking about this, already. This is not getting changed.

I think what he's getting at is that Joey has banned them for the wrong reason, and that he's trying to show Joey that not all joke levels are bad. YMMV on how well that's working but eh.

What I'm trying to say is that some types of joke levels should be banned and some shouldn't

It's not like we don't know what we're banning nor do we not understand what we're banning.
Time to lay down the law. Next person bringing this up here is getting warned.

I should give an update because we all died for a while :V
We're currently trying to set up thread privileges in the best way possible, that is, least hassle easiest to manage etcetera. We're still not done, and yes, that's terrible, but we haven't exactly given up yet.

Ugh it looks like we are going to start organizing levels into two categories with no middle ground again. That always turns out well... Especially when one of the categories contradicts the whole point of releasing a level!!!!!!1!1111!1!!1!1

Was your finger bouncing of the shift key when you were hitting the '1' key?
If I think right, this would be quite cool to have.

I was using that to show extreme sarcasm, which I'm 99% sure will lead to a board warning or even a ban.

Why did you say that? - IT like you are asking for a warning or a ban.

You know I was turning the other cheek and you don't need to tempt fate by saying things like that.
Stop complaining about the levels forum update.

I guess I owe an explanation on why I don't like this.
I feel like there isn't really a big enough split between Serious and Casual. People release their levels to the forum because they want feedback. Its just common sense. Requiring all feedback on Serious Levels to be 100% perfect and be seriously punishable is much too strict. Level design isn't a binary thing; Not all levels are "Serious" or "Casual." Most of mine are in between. I also don't like how, even though the idea isn't fully implemented yet, the punishment system is, and that users have even gotten board warnings for saying that they liked a level. The system feels really power-hungry, strict, and just overall bad to be honest. I'd also like to say that the staff has been abusing me over my opinions on this forum update, and I'm sick and tired of it. Disagreeing with someone doesn't warrant punishment; The staff would like to say otherwise. I feel like this idea is ultimately going to fail, and that's just my opinion. I've explained my reasoning, so don't go downrepping/warning/banning me for this, because that would be a prime example of bad/incompetent/power-hungry/selfish staff. If an opinion is punishable, you need to rethink this update, and by extension, the rules in general. I feel like I have to reiterate the fact that this is only an opinion and opinions just aren't to be punished.
I feel like the staff needs to have a little history lesson on what was worked and what hasn't in this community, because overstrict rules and staff have never led anywhere good, and that's exactly where I feel we're headed right now.
