I'm starting to notice a trend here.

So for the thread, koolkat really does not care how you get your matches done. Whatever the two of you agree with is fine.

Feel free to exploit this to your advantage, be a good kid and just do your 1 match, or be a sensible pokemon trainer and ask for a best 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5.

I sent Blueoak a PM on the time of battle (12/10 at 17:00) but he's gone inactive since the start of the month and I doubt he'll pick it up. What shall I do if Blueoak doesn't reply by the requested time and the PM is still in my outbox?

I will find a replacement if he hasn't battles you by October 20.

Could it be a bit earlier than October 20th? That's over 2 weeks away, and I think the tournament would be more fun if Tier 2 started earlier. Besides, it should only take at most 3 days to contact your opponent and find a good time for both opponents.

October 20 is only a deadline. The tourney will only be delayed if players wait that long to have their battle.

Yeah no we should keep match due dates to like a week after the post and dq people who just plain don't show up.

You can't just put a tournament there and be all "Okay do the matches at your own time!". We'll never get this done at that rate.

Good point. I'll just shorten the deadline to October 13 to coincide with the deadline for CC9

Since we literally only have like half the battles done, I'll extend the due date to tomorrow. After that I'll just cut the participant count down.

And on that matter, Blueoak still has not replied to my PM, and it's been two days since we were supposed to battle. What shall I do? Will you reopen the participants list so I can get someone to battle with?

Blueoak is banned permanently so I guess that's why he hasn't answered you :/
