Also, I don't really care when the tower comes out, but for the next contests, I wonder if it'd be easier to begin working on it before the levels even come in. You could pretty much get everything but the level warps done at any point regardless of whether you know what sorts of levels to expect. All you'd need for that is to know how many tiers you want for a particular iteration of ToB, plus the story/theme/bosses. Then, once you know what the level placements are, all that would be left is to place doors, warps, and signs in the otherwise-finished hub. I think that would make it easier to design, because it'd give you a lot more time to work on it and a lot less work to do at the point where everything's decided.

Well, I honestly don't think this would work out. What if 30% of the levels are joke levels (Just an example, it'll never happen) either the tier should be expanded (resulting in more work), or some levels will make it to higher/ lower tiers. Anyway, I agree, designing the hub AND judging sounds like a crap ton of work. Poor quill.

Designing the entire tower without starting the tier rooms is a good option as well.

I guess that would work.

We try to start the tower as early as possible. We just tend to get the plot idea really late, mostly due to the fact that it's often connected to recent events in the community, and obviously the submitted levels.

I'm glad that all judges are now done judging all levels, and I also hope to see the best results, I am really excited to see them, and I also hope not to see a result that's unexpected, like how that happened in CC8. My prediction of where my level will be is back in teir 4 for maybe the fifth teir, I also hope to see that the judges enjoyed my level...
