Mario was at the castle with the princess so he decided to go to her bedroom to do whatever. They end up falling asleep in the bed, but Mario's stomach growls for food. He goes to the kitchen sleepwalking and has his midnight snack from the fridge. He finds one of his power mushrooms, yet the one he picked however was colored pink instead of red, but Mario didn't care because he needed to eat. So he gobbled up the pink mushroom and went to bed. By the next morning, he woke up, walked up to the door and opened it, only to see random stuff happening outside. He walks the pathway that leads him to a white door. He opens the door and walks out to an ocean of rainbow dust. Mario is stunned about this, but he wanted to find out what was going on. He put his foot into the rainbow dust, when suddenly a force pushed him into it. He flies across a neon outlined landscape with faces of everyone he knows, like Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Toad, and Yoshi. His eyes turned neon as well and he started to feel a burn in his retinas. He flies into a mushroom with a gapping jaw and falls down a long tube. He thuds on a squishy surface and gets up to move around on it. On his feet, he feels more burn and realizes the squishy surface is actually encased with acid. He finds a nearby door as fast as possible, but he melts and is now a puddle for Yoshi to swallow up. He poops out Mario in an egg, hatches him, and sends him into a portal with his tongue, ending up in a circular room of rocky walls and floors with no door or pathway to exit it. Mario is confused as to what is happening and starts to panic. A crackle sound gets Mario to stop on his tracks, watching the four walls crack at once with a glow of orange red. The entire room cracks up and instantly breaks apart, transporting Mario into a volcanic world similar to Bowser's world. He floats his way to the castle without even moving his limbs. The castle is filled with scary faces, bleeding eyes, undead souls, and screaming sounds that just make Mario go insane. He then gets to a room that is totally silent and void of scenery and textures, which makes Mario lose his mind as he smashes his head on the wall repeatedly. A face pops out behind him without a warning and shines a light to get Mario's attention. Mario turns around, sees a guy holding a mirror as he sees himself with pale white skin, blood red eyes, rotting teeth, and his deteriorating clothes. Mario finally snaps and breaks the mirror and ends up warping himself to a seizure inducing trip with bright and neon colors and scary imagery. Mario screams out of insanity and flails his arms and legs around like a lunatic with his head turning purple from his panicking. After a while, everything changes to a hellish red, yellow, and orange, yet the scary images are still there. Mario is going wild and decides to rip his eyes out. He bleeds out of his sockets and also rips off his ears, legs, and even his mustache. He lands on a platform and Bowser is there, just standing in front of him. Mario gets up, Bowser pushes him off the platform and falls into a pit of magma with spikey rocks below. He hits the bottom of the pit when SUDDENLY... Peach slaps Mario right across the face. Mario was rubbing his face and looking around and bolting his head everywhere, only to realize he just had a dream. Mario starts bawling and gets up to hug Peach. She has no idea what he's talking about, but she says to Mario he just probably had a nice trip last night. Mario finally stops crying and lets go of Peach. She leaves the bedroom and does whatever. Mario faints and that is the end of it all.
