Tutorial topic or subforum?

since there are, well, quite a lot of topics of people asking how to do stuff, mainly regarding events and layers, shouldn't we have a topic or a subforum?
that would help newcomers!

I'm pretty sure you're allowed to create tutorial topics in Help & Support as it is; doesn't seem like this is needed.

They don't get pinned, and then they get lost many times. I think darkonius wants a subforum under help + support for tutorials on how to do things.

Sort of like a proper in depth Newbies Guide or something? A topic might serve this better, and it could be set out like Natsu's GFX Index, with links to the tutorial topics already posted on how to maker layers and events work etc. I don't think a whole sub-forum would be necessary when the Help & Support one is readily available. I can see it would be more beneficial than seeing the same old questions filling up the Help & Support forum, though it would probably still happen.

But it would happen a lot less often. maybe it could be there is a PM that links to the tutorial topic when you first sign up.

I prefer making custom event with layer tutorials (with some object) subforum/topic

I just noticed if we do put up a tutorial topic then there won't be as many locked topics in the h+s thread.
