My contest reviews:

Alps Ascent - 7.5/10:

I really liked this level. The tileset was really cool, and the decoration inside of it was great. I didn't think the SMW sizables fit in well, though. Other than that, graphics were all well chosen and properly used. You did a good job decorating the ground of this level. The sky, however, could've used more clouds in some places. Enemies were quite well placed, always making the level feel full enough without being overcrowded. The design was really good, I thought. There was a big variety in obstacles and gimmicks shown throughout the level, which always kept it interesting and fun. The moving platforms, climbable ridges, propeller block, and munchers were all cool aspects of this level. I also thought the music was a nice choice that was original. Overall, this was a cool level with some nice design. It had a few problems, but overall, it was really enjoyable.

Terrifying Treetops - 8/10:

This was a pretty cool level. It was designed quite nicely, with well made sections and gimmicks that fit well with the haunted forest theme. There was a good variety of enemies to make the level more unique, as well as some cool graphics that created a really nice atmosphere. Everything fit together really well aesthetically. To be honest, the level was practically flawless. My only complain was that the level had too many enemies at times, like in the first section where the clinging boos and bats were all over the place and the boss where there were too many enemies altogether (the boss was pretty cool, though). I liked all the secret passageways and alternate routes; it made the level nicely exploration.

Approved.
