I liked. You probably working hard in this project. Of course go be featured when finished.
HOWOVER, It's hard use in a episode, because there are A LOT of other tiles that don't are in this pack. Only can works in some levels like: HDeja-Vu, a HD version of Super Mario Bros 1-1. Or, can be used only for the Character sprites.
Ok, this is my godly idea. 1. First make this pack its own exe, Custom hardcoded gfx (maybe even music) 2. Make an episode for the exe. 3. Eat a cookie
I never thought that 1x1 pixels would look good in SMBX. Nevertheless, this is very much suited for a level that uses 1x1 pixels only. I think combining it with 2x2 pixels would look bits-y.
You sir, deserve a double choc-chip cookie with melted white chocolate inside! These are amazing! In fact, not a cookie, but a cake. Especially like those SMB1 grass tiles.
I think there's a lot of room for improvement, especially in the shading. And I'm not the biggest fan of the quirky style you're going for. If you're not, it just seems to me that way.
I have a question. Is this still being worked on? It would be a shame to see it be discontinued as it looks so good and I've honestly been supporting it! It looked really good and I hope it comes out.
