Question regarding the next contest

Might be a bit early to ask, but there was a discussion in the CC8 topic whether or not LunaDLL levels would be acceptable in the upcoming contest. What was the result of that? Will those be allowed? If it's not been decided yet, that's fine aswell.

I checked the discussion and it seems that it leads to nowhere. I guess we have to wait CC9 to know if Luna.DLL will be implemented. Anyways, I'd like if it is allowed. Also, if it isn't working for you, it's just your fault (you may put Luna.DLL in other place instead of the SMBX folder) and also, if it works for some people, then it can work for you too.

I never said that I was physically unable to use lunadll. Also, the "topic leads to nowhere" part I kiiiiinda anticipated to happen so I'd like Valtteri to clear this up for me, since else I only get "just wait" as an answer, and he's the one running the contests right now.

Maybe it surely won't happen with the whole LunaDLL stuff that is aviable to the next Contest Event because there are still members that are not really on the use to them due to complexity like me.

Also Christian, if LunaDLL doesn't work for someone, it's not their fault, many people can't get LunaDLL to work, no need to bash Emral.

First of all if you're back Emral I'm more than pleased to say welcome back!

Valtteri hasn't really said anything about LunaDLL going allowed or not allowed in CC9, but as FanofSMBX said I'd say we should wait till CC9 and see how many people that can run LunaDLL.

SMBX 1.3.0.2 should came out now. WHY IS THIS STILL NOT RELEASED?

Like are we going to waste another 3 months of nothing and also rioting all over the time

@FOS: well I dunno but we have like 100 people, who will able to enter this contest

I'd still say unlikely, mostly because most of us are still not convinced that it won't just be used to make very shoddy, very cheap tricks that subtracts more from the level than adds to it.

Anyway if you came back sooner you would've had a $10 steam game. But still, welcome back.

To be honest, ASMBXT 1 proved that you didn't need lunadll to make cheap tricks. In my opinion boss health shown on screen, mother brain with less HP, airship levels with checkpoints etc. are not cheap at all.

Because lunadll allows you to make good stuff and I feel that bad usage shouldn't make the good usage disallowed
