Or how about you calm the fuck down? Saying some random new disease is "worse than the plague" is a HUGE over exaggeration. 11 kids in one day is something to pay attention to, yes, but don't go fear mongering.

Bomber57 is absolutely right. Even if the disease did have worse symptoms than the plague, antibiotics and the like exist now while they didn't 700 years ago when the actual plague was in Europe. This is an outrageously alarmist topic.

Hi! Let me tell you from first-hand experience that I do not have Enterovirus 68 yet, and when I do, I'll notify you all if I've died or not!

Guess what? This virus isn't new and it's certainly not deadly. It's just uncommon, and it occurs like the normal common cold which are all Enteroviruses anyway. The only reason why this is becoming so "scary" is because it has suddenly become such a large outbreak because guess what is happening now, BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON! Guess who's getting infected? All the school students! The other factor that plays in that makes it scary is, guess what, EBOLA IS HAVING ITS FAIR SHARE OF GOING AROUND. All this panic for nothing.

Remember, it's just another media scare. Just like the Ebola outbreak, just like ISIS, and just like the death of James Foley. If you want to argue about any of those things with me please be sure to bring evidence to back you up. Thanks.

Ebola is much worse than this, but this virus isn't that nice either.

All this virus does is cause respiratory issues in children. Have there been any deaths related to this sudden outbreak? No, not that I can recall as of yet. Yes, the kids are going to be miserable and ill, but there have been no deaths. Hell, you can die from the common cold yet people don't worry about it, so why are they flipping their shit at this now?

Ebola is much worse than Enterovirus 68, but by an extremely long mile. Ebola has many reported cases of death, whereas Enterovirus 68 is just respiratory illness. Please don't compare Ebola to Enterovirus 68 just because both are having sudden outbreaks.

Heard you can get this virus easier if you have things like asthma, which I have.
