Great game that really pays homeage to all of the previous titles. Though, it would have been good to see Reznor or Yoshi and maybe a wider selection of enemies. I'm at Champion's Road (I've gotten as far as the Ant Trooper wall), I need to finish Mystery House Marathon (I'm at Star 14) and I need to finish World Flower and World Crown with all players and get their last stamps.

I managed to beat it 100% a few months after I got it on the day of release, and it was a really fun game and most of the collectibles were really well hidden. However, it was a bit too easy, and even the Champion's Road could have been harder. But regardless, I liked it for what it was.

Yea, I like how they incorporated wiiverse too, It was a nice touch. It would have been nice to see alot of other playable characters aswell, 10/10, The final boss had me in epic, Happiness tears

Say what? I mean I've gotten to the Ant Trooper wall and most of it was of good difficulty, but the Beep Blocks section is a PAIN IN THE ASS without using Peach's float ability or Rosalina's spin attack. It's okay if you have a Tanooki Suit, but sheesh. Honestly that section, when playing as Mario or Toad is hell. I'll beat it one day though I suppose. I can see your point though for other levels. I found the final boss way too easy. It took ages to beat Bowser in 3D Land, but 3D World's final boss was a literal cake walk. I was slightly put off when Bowser rips out a Super Bell and THEN a Double Cherry, but the final Highway battle was harder in most aspects (though this was pretty short and easy).
The only level that isn't the Mystery House and Champion's Road in World Crown that I haven't completed is the Golden Bowser Express in World 5. But, I don't want to do it, because it doesn't come back ever again unless you start a new game. I can see why they make it do that so you can't harvest tons of 1-Ups, but I would rather the level changes after the first visit so that you can't get all those coins instead of permanently deleting it from the World Map.

Thats quite funny considering the slot machine minigames come back quite often, and they're ridiculously easy to manipulate to get 7-8 lives.

Quite a fair point too I suppose, though I usually have no luck when it comes to those things. At best I usually get about 200 coins. I've only ever reached 777 coins once, and that I'm sure was pure luck. I've never really tried to manipulate the slots though. I believe it works like the 1-Up trick with the SMB3 Roulette Exit.

Its a lot like the roulette blocks that contain powerups, if you know how to hit those to get the powerup you want, simply apply the same strategy to the slot machine game. It takes a bit of memorization (knowing the order of symbols) and a bit of timing as well. Once you get it down, you should be able to do it relatively easily.
I don't really play that minigame much as I usually don't need those extra lives though.

That's actually not true. You have to play 25 levels and it will reappear. It's usually back up by the time i get a game over.
BTW if you time your jumps to the beat of the music in the roulette game, you're guaranteed to get 777 coins. It's actually pretty easy to get 777 coins every time.

Oh okay, from what I had read in the Prima Guide and what I had heard, it was a once only level per game. That's great to know though that it will reappear though. I'll be sure to test jumping to the beat in the Slots Game, it might actually be worth my while, although when you have 938 lives, I don't think I'll need it for a while yet.

It's a really good game, not quite as good as the Galaxy games but very near that. The multiplayer is incredibly fun and the bosses are actually great (especially since they're original characters and not the Koopalings again, as KingKoopa said).

Since it was the Galaxy guys who made 3D World, I was expecting a diverse set of bosses, and not minor tweak in difficulty rehash. Not to say THat would ruin the game for me, because I still would have an absolute blast playing it. BUt if they could have done what they did with Galaxy(s) on 3D World, they would have had the mother of all platformers. The be all end all. TO be clear, I still cant wait to play through this. Just not for $65 lol
