Alright, I got bored and recolored/revamped all of Link's sprites to a more darker tone, so I decided to use the same color palette for Mario as well, and this is the result. Currently, the Mario Tanooki Suit is unfinished, as there are a few graphical errors here and there. I'm only posting the images for the Mario revamp, but Link is still in the pack.

I plan to revamp all of the player sprites using the custom palette, I really like this style, let me know what you think of them. Eventually, my plans are to revamp all of the SMB3 sprites using this palette as well, and I might possibly release the palette to the public, but for now, here are the Mario and Link revamps.

I really like the darker tone you gave the characters! It sorta changes them, from happy heroes, to dark anti-heroes.
