NOTICE: I don't really like how the levels turned out, so I will be scrapping this project. I will keep the download link if anyone is interested. A great new project is in progress.

Hey guys! This is my first forum post so excuse my noobiness. Anyway, I just started a new SMBX episode a few days ago called The Castle Trails. Here I have a 3 level demo just to see what you guys think of it so far, so yeah... Oh just so ya know, there might be some flaws so go easy on me.

Story: I think we all know the story, Bowser kidnapped Peach. Short and simple.

Levels: 1-1: Waterfall Heights 1-2: Generic Plains 1-3: Rockman Mines

Here are some screenshots:
Spoiler: show

I'll try this definitely out. Looks like a fairly decent (mostly) vanilla project. But I would recommend not using too much stuff from different games together, so stay SMW with the SMW cave, SMB3 with the SMB3-styled level etc.

Ok I will keep that in mind for the next levels I'm making!

So, after playing it, Ican say: The core gameplay is good, but it feel slike you used too many objects of different kinds in a level. There was a SMB1 mushroom platform underwater which doesn't make any sense, and the levels felt loaded with too many different GFX. Maybe stick to one or two kinds of graphics, so only use SMW Cave or SMB1 Grass. But aside from that, good work!

Thanks for telling me! I've fixed most of the levels so far so everything will have a theme.
