Design - 5
Having an exactly average score, the design in this level is okay. It didn't resemble an icy forest as much as I would like, though, and personally, you should lower the ceiling a bit so you can actually see it. Perhaps consider adding something to make this level more interesting as well, like gimmicks or whatever. In addition, the poison in this level doesn't match with the ice at all. This actually ruins the aesthetics a bit, and it will be explained more in the Atmosphere section. The music in each section doesn't fit well either, and again, it doesn't capture that icy feel this level is supposed to have. By the way, what's up with that random thing replacing the note block at the very beginning of the level? Is it just there for shits and giggles? Speaking of those things replacing the note blocks, in section 2, in the very middle of it, there's a thing replacing the note block floating on top of the poison, and you have a great chance of dying just touching it since the poison's hit box is so big. Plus, when you jump on it, it creates a cut-off, but you'd only know what I'm talking about if you tried bouncing off of it again. The last bug of this level is section two. It offered nothing to the player at all and was so short it shouldn't of even been there in my opinion. It felt like just filler. Either expand upon it or remove it, please.
Atmosphere - 4
Having a weak score, your atmosphere wasn't that great. First of all, please choose a better tileset for the main sections (in other words, every section but section 2). The tileset you used is what I'd call awful, yes, no offense to the graphics designer, but it's my job as a level judge to give constructive criticism, rude or not. Why should you change the tileset, though? I guess it's a matter of opinion, but it doesn't give the level that much of an icy feel. Try combining an ice tileset and a forest tileset or something; just don't use the tileset you used, because I really don't like it at all and it heavily affects the aesthetics. Speaking of aesthetics, as I said in the Design category, please use something besides poison, toxic, lava, etc. Try something like a recolored version of lava and give it an icy touch; it's just that poison doesn't fit well at all and to be honest it'd be hard to prove me otherwise. Also, the background you used looked weirdly small and diminutive. Plus, the icy trees in the background look really weird, and it's like they lack shading or something. Please choose something better. Regarding your background object placement though, it was great, but not so great in section 2, because, well, there were no BGOs and you need to add some. Quite frankly, you could even use the BGOs you used in sections 1 and 3 for section 2. They'd fit well. That about covers it for atmosphere, though.
Placement - 9.5
This level had just about the most fantastic placement I've ever seen. The way you spread out your question blocks, bricks, and enemies was astonishing, and the pipe placement was just right. The only thing I'd recommend to watch out for in the future is adding a bit too much coins to your level. Also, especially in a short level like this, try not to add so much power-ups. Still, excellent job on this level's placement.
Overall - 6.16
Barely making it to Pretty Good, this was a really cool (pun unintended) level which definitely deserved what score it got. Still, make sure to have better atmospheres in your future levels.
