So in multiple episodes ive seen that people have made coins explode from an item box... How do you do that?

Make a new layer with a lot of coins, put it above the coin box.
Make an event on the coin box so that when it is hit it shows the coins.
Just an idea.

No not like that , because the coins are affected by physics...

No not like that , because the coins are affected by physics...

It would still pop out like an explosion.

Luigi can do it.

And Toad.

Actual luigi when he hit the block the block throw some coins and then turns intro a hited block.Toad when he hit a block block throw 2 smb2 coins and if block have more than two coins stay with his first form until toad hit it again.

To be specific by the whole shenanigans by hitting a Bonus Block that contains Coins in them, with Mario and Peach, you get Coins normally into your inventory. With Luigi, once you hit a Block, a Coin jumps out from a Block, no matter if there are one Coin or many of them. If there are many Coins inside a Box it will jump out every single one of them but there is a Limit. With Toad, it works the same as Luigi but if there are multi Coin Blocks, once you hit one it will jump out Coins only a few times (2-6 Times, tecnically Randomly). With Link it works exactly the same as Luigi instead you get Rupees instead of Coins and you also get blue ones that worths 5 regular green Rupees and red ones that is worth 20 regular green Rupees.
