Idea: DarkMatt's Movie Night (test stream over)

Remember, folks at home, Skype is not mandatory, it is optional. The only reason you would use Skype would be to commentate live on the movie as apposed to a a chat with a 3-10 second delay.

I'd also like to point out that there should be a strict rule enforcement or two if people are on Skype, because nobody really wants to listen to mic spam or any feedback/noise. People should leave voluntarily if asked to leave and I'm pretty sure you can assign people roles so they can kick users if needed. Nobody wants jackasses interrupting the movie.

I would be interested in this but I'd have to know what timezone/time/day it's at, since my great grandmother passed away yesterday and I may or may not have to take leave for the funeral services (where I will be pallbearer so it's mandatory I attend). Other than that I would be glad to partake in this and use Skype.

i don't watch many movies honestly, is it really that good? it just sounds like a movie that would try to be serious but would end up being hilariously cringeworthy in the end.

More info: I will need to do a test stream to ensure the format's working. This will be me picking a day at random, not scheduled at all, and inviting some doods into the skype group.

As such, chances are I won't tell you guys about the stream. I will only be getting people who can help me out with audio/stream problems.

If all goes well, you will know about the actual stream times either tomorrow or the next day. Afterwards, it'll always be there.

Welp. Okay so, yes, I do remember skype being bad. I probably won't care terribly so by first stream, but by then, I'll want to get a server.

Good new is 1: there is such a thing, and 2: it's turbo cheap http://www.gameservers.com/teamspeak_servers/

But I'm still waiting for feedback.

Uh, if you need a free hosted Ventrilo server, I do have one that can support up to 100 people at a time, and it's free to run for me and it actually works, so if you do need that for the first or second or third streams, let me know and I'd be obliged to run one for you.
