what if we missed smbx so it redirects to smbxgame.com instead of Mario.Nintendo.com, and then distributed that copy here?

What are you saying? The splash screen at the startup of smbx? You would have to edit the webpage that's in the smbx folder.

If you're talking about hosting smbx here, I wouldn't recommend that. Redigit asked not to distribute smbx, as it might cause problems for him. Of course there are websites that still have the download for smbx, but I don't think it would be right to host it here. If people want to download it, they can just do a quick google search anyways.

There are no web pages in the smbx folder besides a shortcut to supermariobrothers.org. SMBX is hardcoded to display supermariobrothers.org/splash at startup.

Me and Darkchao have modded SMBX before so it redirected to my old SMBX website. It is possible to do this.

You can actually change the splash screen URL by using a hex editor/editing the link by yourself. You can do this with file paths too.

I know; I was just telling Claw that it's not achieved through editing the webpage in the smbx folder.

We could also fish out Redigit's old trailer for 1.3 and include a modded smbx that redirects here

Personally I'd include Valtteri's HQ sound pack with it and other fixes, as well as the SMBX graphic pack just to make a better package for users.
