Hello all,
I had the previous version working fine. Then one day it started getting weird error messages, so i downloaded the most recent version 1.3.0.1. I can run smbx.exe after the install, however when I click either Start Game or Level Editor, I get the run time error: Run-time error '9' Subscript out of range. I've deleted everything, than re-installed fresh but same thing. I've heard others get it from a certain chain of events for a level, but I can't even get to the level. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Try to open the level in a .txt file and then delete all the events you made in that level.

It happens from the fresh install (meaning that I haven't created anything). Are the levels or npc's stored elsewhere from where all the other files are?

Maybe try deleting smbx 1.3 and all the smbx 1.3.0.1's that you have (except for the current one)

lighthouse, I have deleted (what I believe) was every instance of 1.3 so that didn't work
Christian, yes I read your post, however since I have never created a level, I'm not sure what events I would be deleting. Unless you mean to delete them from all default levels that come with the installation of 1.3.0.1. Is that what you meant?

All, of course. Or the ones you created before the last save in your level.

No, just in the level you have the error.

Sorry about that then . Well try just making a new level and getting rid of that old one. Kinda like what christian said

Perhaps I am not clear. I can't do anything from a fresh install. Nothing launches past the initial launch screen. If I click 'Start New Game" or if I click "Level Editor" I get Run-time error '9' Subscript out of range. [rimg] [/rimg]

Send us your SMBX directory so we can inspect it.

Ok. That's pretty bad. Something is probably wrong with that smbx thing. I once downloaded smbx and I didn't see any folders for it. I had to reinstall

You might also want to list your system specs, klizine.

RESOLVED!!!
First off, I would like to thank every member that attempted to help me, it really means a lot.
Secondly, how I did it. I was just looking through files, when I saw Revo (an uninstaller assistant app). I gave it a shot, and deleted any of the additional files they suggested. I then re-installed and to my surprise all is correct.
YAY!!!!

Actually, upon further investigation, it had nothing to do with the files being deleted (it was a fresh install). Turns out it won't load when my Toshiba stack Bluetooth is enabled... who knew? Regardless , thank you all!
