The Forest Ground by LittleBoo

Atmosphere 8/10: This level was set inside a mystic forest with a lot of Koopas, Piranha Plants and Spike Balls. I really liked tileset you used, but I really feel it was a bit generic. It kinda had a lack of shading and I think having grass in pits didn’t quite look very well. And one thing I really recommend is that you should’ve added some ruins tileset and BGOs cause the music you used was very ruins-ish, but I really liked the atmosphere overall.

NPC Placement 7/10: The NPC was really good in the first section, though I suggest adding few more coins in the level. The first section had an okay amount of NPCs, however some areas was a bit spammy in my opinion. The second section too be honest ( I may sound like the worst SMBX player right now) really hard.

Gameplay 6.5/10: The spike ball idea in this level was really novel and I haven’t seen one for a long time. It was used greatly in the first section, however the in the second section it really hard to avoid them, and the idea could’ve been extended to a puzzle gimmick in my opinion, but I really liked the idea. The collectibles was well hidden to make it up!

Level Design 6/10: It was really challenging and it was really fun and enjoyable, however the design did get generic later on. It was really linear and going forward is kinda boring in my opinion. I really think if the level’s design was a bit more varied it could’ve been more fun. However it was really challenging to make it up!

So in total you’re getting 6,875/10 which is a pretty good score. I really hope you update the level! Moved to the Pretty Good.
