Steins;Underwater by Mudkip
Atmosphere 9/10: This level is so goddamn beautiful! The dialogues were a really nice addition. And lol those references to Steins;Lab I saw three times. I liked the idea of making an underwater level with ruins, but I feel some parts of the level didn’t wasn’t exactly ruins-themed. The graphics was greatly used, but it had sometimes a lack ruins in some parts of the level, but however I loved music you used in this level.
NPC Placement 9.5/10: I’ve nothing much to say than the NPCs was greatly placed in the level. However I feel the first two sections deserved to have NPCs like enemies or Coins. Other than I don’t anything else to say.
Level Design 8.5/10: I liked the idea of having huge sections where you could swim around and explore, but the cause of the huge amount of space the level has it’s pretty hard to find the items required in this level like the Skull Switches. It’s very annoying and makes the player confused and frustrated.
Gameplay 8/10: There wasn’t anything in much into this level than exploring it and trying to find the right path which is super annoying. The switch was okay, but it’s annoying to get from Point A to Point B. And the Skull Switch idea was honestly a bad idea because it made me so frustrated. I really suggest going for one switch instead of three.
So overall this level is getting 8,75. I really liked it, but there’s these flaws that annoys the player so much.
