Spiny cave

I've made a new level,it's quite short, it took me hours to do it,
so please enjoy it :D

Looks pretty cool, I like the Para-Spinys and how you evened the ground for the grass. But I don't like the Goombas and you should recolor the grass.

Initially...
A fairly decent level.

Generally...
Pretty neat level, I like its nostalgia! But the first flaw I noticed is the fact that right at the beginning, there is a Spiny and a Goomba coming right at you, and that's unfair since you shouldn't be forced to move right off of the bat. Also, the Goomba heavily clashes with the atmosphere, and so do the coins. Try to avoid mixing SMB3 and YI. Anyhow, the next flaw is the fact that you have a SMB3-styled level, yet you used SMB1 Bullet Bills and SMB1 grass. Quite frankly, even if they don't clash, try to avoid using SMB3 and SMB1 in a vicinity. It doesn't always turn out well. And why did you add clouds inside a cave? Do you think some random guy would go to a cave to walk on clouds? Obviously not. Definitely consider removing them, because they don't fit. Oh, and regarding the coin placement, it was fine, but seriously, please add essential things like pipes. Mario just feels weird without them, just thought I should point out. So, that it for the negativity, let's be positive. I really liked the clever hiding spot for the switch. I also like the enemy variety, even if some of the enemies clashed with the atmosphere. Lastly, the question blocks and bricks were placed great, I like it! Overall, though, great level.

Pros...
-even if it was classic and generic, fitting music
-superb placement of question blocks and bricks
-clever hiding spot for the switch and in general the secret exit
-good enemy variety
-good coin placement
-very nostalgic
-good tileset

Cons...
-enemies coming at you right off of the bat
-Goombas clash
-Bullet Bills don't clash, but don't look that good with the atmosphere
-why are their clouds inside a cave
-right off of the bat you're forced to move and avoid some enemies
-I don't think the SMB1 grass looks good with the tileset, that's just my opinion though
-unfitting coins
-section two was a bit bland and boring looking
-no pipes! There's no Mario game without pipes

Other Notes/Other Questions...
If the clouds are background objects, how did you make it to where you can stand on them?

Overall...
