Just looking at the screenshots, I see a lot of clashing between the casino tiles and the grass. Also, it is very rare that I see lava underwater, but it doesn't work here. It hurts seeing those SMB3 toy tiles next to SMW lava with the SMW Water background.

Uhh...sure. also, about the ghost background; it's supposed to be haunted. and also, I knew the main complaint would be clash, just because clash doesn't bother me/I don't notice it.

Just because clash doesn't bother you, it doesn't mean that it doesn't bother anybody else.
Also, I don't have WINRAR so don't be so sarcastic.

First off, I know, and I tried to not have it but with me I guess it can't be helped. And I wasn't being sarcastic. I was saying I would. Jeese.

Using Casino tiles with Ghost house background is obviously unfitting. Casino tiles are bright, Ghost House is dark. You could've recolored the casino tiles to be dark and recolor one of the backgrounds (and maybe add some stuff) that came with thr tileset to look haunted (making it look dark, add some fog).

I didn't know fog graphics existed

. And also, I can't recolor or edit GFX at all without messing them up.

Do you use MS Paint? It screws .gifs up when saving.

No, I use Paint.NET, yet it always comes out all weird and translucent when I load it in SMBX.

Did you change the gifs made for transparency? (The ones that end with an n). I'm also not sure if Paint.NET also screws up .gifs. Maybe take a look at the gif files you changed.

To not screw up saving .gifs, try PAINT.net

Oh, does the normal graphic have a white background? If it does, it shows against dark backgrounds. I had that problem with my Castlevania Death graphic.

Y'all thought I forgot about this, didn't cha.
Catastrophe Carnival
GFX: 5/10
I can see you attempted to use custom gfx, which is not a bad thing, but they could be a bit more... organized. Everything felt a bit random and clustered together. I know that that was your attempt because it's allegidly a circus or carnival, but it's really hard to throw random stuff together and make it look good. I really see what you were trying to do with this, but it just didn't work. The ghosthouse background didn't fit in my opinion, even though it still gave the level a darker atmosphere, which I give you kudos for.
Another thing that bothered me was the boss that replaced Ludwig. The animations looked really weird and there wasn't even a dying effect replacement. This definitely could've been done better.
Music: 6/10
Circus level with dark twist = Circus music with dark twist
This part was executed good, but the music really didn't get to me. There were much better options to chose for this kind of level. The music was still too cheery for this level, and it wasn't a creepy kind of cheery, which I found kinda sad. (Sidenote: If you're looking for creepy carnival music, I recommend music from the Sims: Making Magic. Especially Nutcase Land has that kind of creepiness I would've expected from the music this level.)
The boss music sounded nice, but didn't really fit the boss. Like with the overall music, I advice you to go for something a little creepier.
NPCs: 3/10
There were boos in this level, which definitely was a good start, but I felt it was a little empty. Where are the creepy jack-in-a-boxes and the scary clowns? Even the Lemmy balls would've done. There are so many options to chose for a circus level and you only had the boos, which was disappointing.
There was one mushroom in the beginning and I think one hidden fireflower, which I guess was okay, since the level wasn't THAT hard.
Gameplay: 4/10
This level was very open and you could pretty much go whereever you wanted. This was actually quite enjoyable and it was fun to explore, altough some areas seemed out if place and it was very hard to find all the exits (I think there were about 6 different ways to end the level) and I didn't even find the boss untill I looked through the level in the editor. Some of the exits felt kinda forced and random, which I guess was the creator's intent, but the execution wasn't very likeable. Some exits were really hard to find and for me there was no point in bothering to find all the exits because in the end it just ends the level without giving you any sort of reward. I suggest to spice it up a little more you make some of the really hard-to-find exits some sort of easteregg (like the boss) or you make all the exits stars, so that it could theoretically be used in a star-based episode.
The boss was nice, the "story" was interesting and it was a somewhat-fun level to explore, altough a bit short and lacking of interesting gameplay or challenges, besides trying to find all the exits.
Over all this level receives a 4.5, which makes it Average.
