SMB3 Snow Tileset

So I was playing SMB3 and only now noticed that the snow tiles in the game are lighter than the normal wood tiles. Look at this:

Mind-blowing, isn't it. So I made a small graphics pack containing a fixed snow tileset and various other objects, such as pipes and vines, good for SMB3 snow levels!

Contains:
  • Corrected SMB3 snow tileset
Corrected ice cubes (they're transparent in the original SMB3)
Two ice recolors for pipes (including thin pipes) and bushes (including the unused clustered bushes from SMB3) and three recolors for vines
Striped snow hills (including ones that replace the other default SMB3 BGOs in SMBX)
Ice sizable block with a bottom part

Are we sure that this is actually the exact block from the game? It looks like this might be from SMA4.

It's from SMB3 for the SNES. SMA4 does have lighter colors but this tile is definitely from the SNES version as I ripped the tile from the game myself and compared.

Hey Val.
You got an error in the ask at the edge+side(left).

Well, I never noticed this myself, I always love these sort of missed details. It's nice to see that someone picked up on it. I love the tileset and I think I have a perfect use for it.

Thanks! (that ice cube seems a bit transparent but whatever.)

Cool, it looks like the Super Mario Advance version of the snow tileset. Funny how I NEVER noticed the change in colour for the snow tileset ever.
