This is just plain stupid. The fact that one has already died should be a wake up call to others who are even considering to take on this idiotic challenge.

First of all why would anybody think it's a good idea to set themselves on fire. I almost wanna say it's your own fault if you're stupid enough to do this and then get hurt or worse.

That's probably the evidence of imbecility of teens in the recent time (the most of them, not all).

This is like the cinnamon challenge, though instead of suffocating (as the cinnamon would enter your lungs/throat if you do it wrong) you burn to death or die from an infected burn.

Hm. If this did happen, which it most certainly can, this would probably be more of a solution than a problem if you think about it. Like you could spread this image around and maybe make a challenge out of it.

This is a fucking stupid idea. I truly pity the people who decide to try this out...

If they want to be burned, we can use them to do barbecue (they are coal or we eat they, cannibalism should be legal in this case).

Sometimes in the umanity there are some lost cases.

So I just heard in the news that a man not too far from where I live tried to burn himself. The report didn't mention if he did it for the fire challenge, but I assume he did, bc they said he took a canister of gasoline, poured it all over himself and then lit himself on fire in a public restroom.

And this is in Germany, so it's actually a thing that people world-wide do. I thought this was just some crazy trend in the USA, but nope
