Do you have those times where you wake up and are, like, paralysed for 30 seconds or so, before being able to move again?
It happens to me a lot and I hate it...

No, but I'm pretty sure that's sleep paralysis.
Actually I suspect I experienced it as a very young child. One time when I woke up in the night, I envisioned a creature with large white eyes that moved around the top right corner of my vision, which by my perspective would have seemed large when projected against the opposite wall. I also had a couple nightmares involving lying down and being unable to move.

I have suffered this many times.
It usually happens after a nightmare, or if you've just had a massive cheese sandwich and you're thinking about the taste.
It's not a nice feeling, but it disappears within 30 seconds.

It's happened to my about six times in my life. It's an incredibly wired feeling. The only thing I could move was my eyeballs barley.

No, it's actually a lot more common than you think and it's just another sleeping & dreaming thing. I believe it involves the fact you think you're awake but you don't know your body is asleep. Chances are you'll get frightened by this and hallucinate disturbing things, like what Magician experienced.

So yeah, sleep paralysis.

It's nothing to be worried about. If it's reoccurring, try changing your sleep pattern or amount/kinds of food consumed before bed.

I only get really dizzy, can't stand on my feet and my sight gets foggy. It happens when I'm in crowded places and sometimes when I wake up.

How does it happen a lot? IIRC sleep paralysis is supposed to be pretty rare to ever experience.

Sleep paralysis is quite common I think, but we're not professionals in this.
If you want to find out more, possibly visit an online site or maybe go to your doctor.

Happens when I'm only trying to go to sleep and somehow I can snap out of it.

Twice. It was about as terrifying as expected.
Each time I felt a heavy pressure on my chest, and I had to concentrate deeply on keeping my breathing up because breathing through my nose isn't exactly perfect for me- it's dulled, sometimes I can't even smell things. In ancient times it was thought that this was due to a presence of a demon in the room, usually sitting on your chest. Sometimes it was credited to succubi or an incubus.
