This is dissapointing.

I recently checked my SMBX folder to delete some levels that I made that I don't want anymore. (mostly because they are old levels that don't look very good, and test levels.)
And I opened my worlds folder and I saw nothing but episode folders in it.
There were no LVL files in my worlds folder, but when I go to "open" in the level editor, I see all those levels I want to get rid of.
It's so annoying. I cant see my levels. Can someone help me with this?

Yes, this has been a problem to multiple users already (including myself), open your levels, save them at a different place (like a folder on your desktop) so that you have them backed up, and then reinstall SMBX. That fixed it for me.

I'm using SMBX 1.3.0.1.
It is updated.
I will try, but i'm not 100% sure that it will work. I thought someone had found a better solution to this over time, but maybe I was wrong. Plus, I kind of replaced some sounds, so if I update, then I will lose the sound.
EDIT: Really, the only sound I changed was the "player-died" one. I changed it from SMB3 SNES to SMB1 SNES.
But I will see anyway.
BTW, do I delete the whole "SMBX" folder, or just the "worlds" folder?
Oh yeah, and I changed the intro, which is also dissapearing.

Backup your SMBX folder and then delete the whole thing.
MAKE SURE YOU BACK IT UP AND HAVE A SECOND COPY SOMEWHERE.

SMBXxer, that doesn't function. Try this:

KoolKat said this before in this topic.
