@bossedit8's Review - Stilt Guys' Revenge - Level made by @FanofSMBX

Design:
Ahh, SMW2 Level. Such a rarety on SMBX. The design was decent to nice for a casual SMW2 Level like this. First we encounter a horizontal Section then into a bigger Section were you can find a Secret which was nicely done and later even a vertical Section to boot up. The most time it is just horizontal Sections on the whole Level anyway but it isn't bad. The whole background objects are very detailed enough for this Level, like there are Bushes, different types of Trees, few Flowers and Stones. Although I don't see the complete Point of using SMW Fences on those SMW2 Wooden Platforms but no matter anyway as it makes it more variety to the background object placements. What I do not like is how you used those blue big Bricks replaced on those big '?' Blocks from SMB3. The Normal blue Brick is the regular '?' Block and the cracked blue Brick is a empty Block. It is a nice idea though but having them like that is very weird as they contain Coins too on at least most of those regular Bricks throughout the Level. At least make them 'Empty' but oh well. Other thing what I do not like if the whole background objects on the very bottom on the Level's Boundary. At the very few cases there is a Chance to just jump down there because there are sceneries at the bottom but as of a result you lose a live just for thinking yourself that there are maybe blocks at the bottom just by looking at the sceneries. The background looks at least decent enough but having them 1x1 pixels on them they look far far away than usual which seems a bit weird to me but at least they are from SMW2 so it fits... well, except for the whole SMB Clouds inside a SMW2 which seems not really fitting. I know there is a reason to them so they do not look bland as it is just full of sky but SMB to SMW2 seems far away. The other background has also 1x1 and at the very top there are SMB3 filled Clouds. At least what I like is how you used different Music once you enter on a different background too. Nice Detail. Oh and there are a few (or only one) places where you can Glitch into the Tiles and maybe get stuck once you do. Also I can't recall a Checkpoint to this Level but the Level isn't all that too long, at least.

NPC Placements:
The whole NPC placements like having Enemies on your way, having different type of obstacles was decent enough but at least use more Enemy variety on this Level because the only enemies I have been encountered are Mangenta Shy Guys replaced SMB2 Blue Shy Guy, Red Stilt Guys replaced SMW Rex, Koopas replayed SMB3 Giant Koopas, Taptaps replaced SMB3 Spiny and a completly out of placed SMB3 Lakitu that isn't styled in SMW2 but at least he was more challenging that was used to this Area. The Taptap isn't immune to Fire which he is supposed to be one. The Koopas has a messed up Hitbox which seems a bit unnatural and every custom NPCs + effects has 1x1 Pixels. Power up placements where kind of low especially once you are hitting to the later Areas because it is getting lower which I do not really like. At least give your Player a Mushroom or something to help out with. Coin placements were very lacky throughout the Level. At least you can collect Coins by checking out Blocks well enough but it seriously lacks by having them on your way like collecting them on the Air. The Platform Ride seems a bit unnecessary because there is nothing that can actually kill you but at least they are nicely timed.

Overall Rating Score: 5.75

It was a decent to nice SMW2 Level but also decent issues encountered.

This level was okay, it wasn't the best, but not the worst. The only two things I can complain about are the tiny errors well, issues and... The Shy Guys. The Shy Guys fit in with the level well, but not graphically. Grant it they are YI Styled like the level itself, but they looked kinda strange... especially the normal ones that were not on stilts. They look... just off. It reminds me of the ones that were in Return to Yoshi's Island, a VERY old SMBx episode that was successful. They're are a lot better YI Shy Guy GFX, ones that can simply be found in the UGP (Ultimate GFX Pack).

The Music also sounded a tad bit fuzzy, as if it was recorded on Audacity or simply a Microphone, but music never really bothers me in levels unless it's way too bizarre.

If I were to rate this level, I'd give it a 5.7/10, which is again, not the best, but not the worst...

Meh, sort of, but it kind of played more like an original Yoshi's Island, which isn't bad, because I often prefer classics over news, but not all the time.
