Hello all, you may remember this topic on SMBX:Revived before the last forum move. If you remember this topic, then chances are you know what I'm about to say, for those of you who don't, read below. Basically, I'm continuing this "project" in an attempt to recover as many old GFX and screenshots as possible for re-use or to be kept for future reference/archiving. A lot of our community's work lies within much of these lost items, and I'm out to gather as much of it as possible. BUT...

I need your help to do this.

So in my GFX Pack (advertising unintended) you will see the beginning of my efforts in the "GFX Recovery" folder. Most, if not all of these GFXs have been ripped from screenshots in their original posts since most d-links are gone and they've been restored for use. However, with many GFXs like these still remaining, it would be beneficial to be able to access them on the old forums to continue my work. (I started before Cloud's and NSMBX closed). I still have access to Cloud's Forum's GFX, Levels and Projects sections due to me using the back door (moderator status) to these now locked forums, so I'm slowly working my way through these, but there is much more work that still lies (hopefully) within the NSMBX Forums which are unaccessible with the proper means.

Also, if you have old screenshots from these eras, please forward them to me so I can begin archiving them and put them to good use.

Finally, I ask if any of the staff members of the NSMBX forums can or would allow me access in some way to the following sub-forums of NSMBX so I can collect what screenshots or GFX remain.
- Cool Screenshots for SMBX
- Graphics
- Projects
I would appreciate this immensely if it is at all possible.

Have you tried using The Wayback Machine? It will let you visit websites as they appeared in the past, and, in this case, browse the NSMBX forums before non-users were denied access.

There are some that are still up. Mainly the "Right click and save" ones and the Mediafire links.

Edit: You can also try asking me if I still have them.

Update:

I've nearly finished archiving most of what I can get to on the NSMBX Forums, and amongst it all is a lot of screenshots, some graphics, the animated ranks and so on, I will begin work on the recently re-opened SMBX section at Cloud's Forum soon and recover what I can from there. However, with the recent, uh, events at Knux's, retrieving anything from there will be impossible. So if you have anything like:

-Screenshots
-GFX
-Animated Ranks
- Tileset sheets, logos or other miscellaneous stuff

Send it to me via PM so I can archive it and try and patch up a void in our community's history.

About Knux's forum, I've found a page in the wayback machine. It contains all the graphics made since the january 1th. From this day the graphics posted in the forum wer none, I guess.

Well it is from back a while ago, so that will be of great help. I'll see what I can retreive. Thanks Christian07.
