I have a few complaints about the update for SMBX.
1. Sometimes after saving something, the editor will close without any warning.
2. Runtime errors happen about twice as often.
3. http://www.smbxgame.com/forums/v ... =35&t=2758
There are more but I forgot them.
EDIT: 4. Sometimes custom level graphics on the world map level tap do not appear.

1. None of the coding of the program was changed.
2. None of the coding of the program was changed.
3. None of the coding of the program was changed.
4. None of the coding of the program was changed.
So I doubt that it's specifically 1.3.0.1 that is the issue and not just something wrong on your end.

@3. It only happens in 1.3.0.1 and has happened to multiple people.

It's never happened to me. 1.3.0.1 was just mainly graphical updates, and that launcher webpage hack that weegee(?) did before. Everything else is the same.

Well I guess they fucked it up or something.

Or, maybe it was like that before because the coding for smbx is a complete mess.

It was never in any older version.

EDIT: 4. Sometimes custom level graphics on the world map level tap do not appear.
1. That has happened in the past, especially for me. (I'm talking about way back. Before 1.3.0.1)
2. It depends on what you do to get the errors. They don't just 'happen'.
3. I dunno what to tell you about this. I doubt that it is the newer version.
4. That's been an issue ever since custom graphics became a thing. For maps, it's hit/miss.

1. This is a bug with SMBX that Redigit didn't bother to fix. Usually, the bigger the level, the more likely it is to close randomly. It's not 1.3.0.1.
2. No, they don't.
3. That happened to me to, it's a bug with 1.3.0.1.
4. I don't know what you mean by tap.

It's basically impossible that runtime errors would happen more often in 1.3.0.1. Again, nothing about the actual SMBX app itself has been changed; only the launcher/client that runs it, and some graphics. The actual game code remains identical to 1.3. There's no reason why the game would crash more often.

Exactly. All that changed was two new battle levels (I only got one of them, please fix that), Higher quality in terms of music, and new along with fixed GFX.
