Super Mario Brothers: The Reboot (Accepting ideas!)

Ah, Super Mario Brothers. The NES Classic, the King of Consoles! Pretty much defined platforming games from then up to now, and probably beyond. But what if we put a little... twist on it?

Introducing "Super Mario Brothers: The Reboot"! 8 familiar worlds, with big changes! What are these changes, you ask?

Eh... er, um... I, uh, haven't thought of them yet. :?

But hey! Maybe you guys could help me out! Give me some ideas for the 8 familiar worlds we all know and love, and if they win in a battle of the polls, they'll be put in the game! Hopefully. If I can find a graphics pack for it.

Now, while it sounds like I came unprepared, I do have some things in mind for this episode! For example;
  • New Boss fights!
    More variety in levels!
    Enemies never before seen in Super Mario Brothers! (Some of them are probably there because of time travel, or something.)
I think if we work together, this episode can really spring to life! But hey, that's just the optimist in me.

Worlds (Warning: May change as development moves along)
  • 1. Happy-Time Grasslands
    2. Koopa Beach
    3. Mine System
    4. Ice Base
    5. Eternal Circus
    6. Bomb Factory
    7. Podoboo Volcano
    8. Bowser's Castle
    8.5. ???

World 2: Mouser (From Super Mario Bros 2)
World 3: Big Castle (From Super Mario Bros)
World 4: Bullet Bill Bowser (Fusion between Bullet Bill and False Bowser) (Take him out with a billy gun)
World 5: Clown Car Bowser
World 6: Classic Bowser (Hit the axe)
World 7: Melee Bowser (Replacing Ludwig)
World 8: Stomping Bowser (Replacing Smb3 Bowser)
World 8-5: Giga Bowser

Interesting. I'll keep this in mind. Any ideas for the themes of the Worlds themselves?

World 2: (SMB2-like) Volcano/Lava
World 3: Mountains/Underground
World 4: Factory
World 5: Circus
World 6: Grass
World 7: Ice/Snow
World 8: Sky/Space
World 8, second part: Lava maybe with some extra gimmicks to not be similar to World 2

(ideas based around Murphmario's Boss ideas)

World 1's going to be a normal grassland, but I'm definitely considering those other ones!

Well, I wanted to mix things up by making World 6 grass, but OK, it's your project.

Oh cool, people actually know my old project :P

By the way, World 2 should be water, because World 2 in SMB1 was mostly water-based levels.
