I can't open SMBX 1.3.0.1 it keeps giving the run time error 481 invalid picture message every time i try to open it. Does anybody have any idea why that happens and how can i fix it?

1) What OS you have?
2) Which archive you downloaded? (Installer or ZIP)
3) have you "graphics" folder with images?
Just in case, put SMBX folder into root of your disk (for example, C:\SMBX 1.3, D:\SMBX 1.3, D:\games\SMBX\, etc.), And path shouldn't contains any non-ASCII characters (Paths like C:\Users\Вася Пупкин\Desktop, C:\Rafał\SMBX are illegal)

Yea, me too, but on some computers can be bugs, and need check them.
P.S. Forgot about permissions: should be allowed for all SMBx's folders or run SMBX with administrator rights

I tried putting in the root of my disk, it didn't worked same, the path didn't conteined any non-ASCII characters

No. Since Redigit got sued he left SMBX forever and isn't going to update it. 1.3.0.2. is probably the last update we'll get.

I remember reading quite awhile ago that SMBX + lunadll was going to be 1.3.0.2, whatever happened to that? There's also Lunalua that adds even more functionality.
SMBX + Lunalua and some tutorials and guides could breathe some life back into SMBX.
