Losing motivation

Postby SMBXxer » Thu Jul 24, 2014 9:41 pm

Well, I have a problem.
I am finding myself losing motivation to use SMBX.
Do you guys have any tips for me?

Listen to some awesome music, then use the theme of the music to create a level based on it. Listen to this music as you make the level to keep you hyped while making the level.

Take a break. Do other things. You'll notice when the inspiration is back.

Just relax and do something else which actually inspires you. And try to avoid the forums, it distracts you. Always.

If you have a general level concept, try drawing the level on paper. That seems to really help me for some reason, and I've heard it helps others too.
