Which NSMB is the best.

I would go hitting with nsmbu , because of adding challenges and such level design.

If you're talking about the official series then I'd go with NSMB DS. If not it would be Newer SMBWii.

nsmbu > nsmbw > nsmb2 > nsmb1

u has the best level design in the series + challenge mode for added replayability.
nsmbw is great as well but not as good as u.
i can't really recommend nsmb2 or nsmb1 unless you really want more nsmb or can get them cheap.
nsmblu is good, but idk how to rank it in comparison to the rest of the games. it's worth playing, though.

I agree with just about everything qig just said, except that I prefer NSMB1 to NSMB2. It feels a lot more inspired somehow, although I agree that neither of them are fantastic games. It also has Mario vs. Luigi, which is a pretty fun multiplayer mode.

IDC if Newer isn't official but it is better then any of the nsmb titles Nintendo made i mean the new enemies are good the boss fights aren't the same Koopalings again and even the Final Boss is somewhat difficult and not just a run and run or beat the crap out of him.
