The level really lives up to its name.
Graphics
They look fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Everything is monochrome SMW styled, and nothing clashes. It's usually pretty easy to make a gray monochrome level, because it's so easy to make them look great. This is a perfect example of that statement. I especially love the castle section, it just seems to really appeal to me. I will note that the sideways pipes has issues with cutoff because some of the tiles' shading is facing the wrong way.

Design
It's a pretty nice, flat level, and the scenery complements the evil monochrome style. It's in other words detailed very well. I especially love the key exit's section, as it is detailed just how I once planned to make a level. All the sections are done nice, except for the very end. Major pidget enemy spam that is near impossible to dodge and eat them all because there is always too many on the screen at once. Please get rid of at least half of them. You're also rather low on coin and question block placement.

Gameplay
It actually ended up being a fairly enjoyable level, even if it was rather short and had a few NPC placement issues in some spots. Yoshi, even though his tongue was red (but to my knowledge that's unchangeable), was a really great addition to the SMW feel. Minus the very end, it wasn't all that hard of a level either, it was nice and easygoing, even though you gave us only Mushrooms.

Music
Both music pieces were surprisingly fitting. I would have preferred a more ambient piece over the SMW ghost house music and the key exit section's music as well. I also personally would have stuck to the main theme for the castle area as it appears to also still be outside in the background. But alas, I didn't hate the music.

This was a short, but nice and enjoyable monochrome level. I'm surprised to not see these very often as the only other one I can think of is sezixor's CC7 entry.
