(inb4 the essay and the feels, and when Joey removes me from admin)
I'd like to thank Joey for allowing me this opportunity, and it's been a privilege to have such a position in the forums.
However, my days as admin now come to an end. As much as I tried to do my best to be an admin, I've failed. In all honesty, all I ever did was change the names of members via their requests and do the same actions as a global moderator would do. There was the so-called "bullying" incident, but trust me, anyone else could have done the same thing I did, so it's no big deal. Many of you guys don't know me (and probably never cared that much), so I always felt like the odd one out. You guys know everyone else on the staff team, but you barely know who I am.
There are so many people who deserve this position and a global moderator position, and that may be the case since one person might be an admin soon, opening up a global moderator position. I decided to not become a staff member, only a regular user. Most members questioned why I got the position and I have to be honest here as well - I was asked if I wanted the position of admin because reghrhre stepped down as admin due to his busy life. As much as I tried to believe I worked hard to get the admin position, I got it based off preference. The time before I was an admin, back when I was a global moderator, I took a hiatus due to college. When I came back, I instantly became an admin. So it was right for some members to question whether or not I deserved the position.
On top of that, life has gotten busy for me once more. But that isn't an excuse for the lack of activity I showed as an admin. Maybe some day I'll work back to the position that I once held, but of course I'll make sure this time I worked fairly for it.
This doesn't mean I'm gone for good. I'll still (try) to be active as a regular member. But in terms of holding power, I don't believe at this point that I still deserve the right to have that much of power here.
Thank you for understanding.
