Custom music (problem)

I have the music in the folder, I entered the name but it still does not work.

Put .mp3 at the end and click on custom music.

See if it takes some time to load. That happened to me before.

I'm sure the custom music plays instantly as soon as you click "Custom".

Download Audacity and open the music file with that. Export it as an mp3, and try again. Sometimes this will fix the problem.

well make sure your putting the music in the right spot. you don't put the music in the folder where you would put custom graphics. you put the music in the folder where the actual lvl is located

I think i saw this problem once aswell. Some Custom Music even when it's mp3 format doesn't play in smbx then for some reasons. Sometimes it takes a bit longer and sometimes it starts automatic after enabling the custom button.

I had this problem as well. I was trying to use certain music for a Bowser battle but it refused to play. I found out that it was because sometimes the bit rate of the music might be too high, and if the bit rate is too high then the music won't play in SMBX. Lowering the bit rate will allow it to play in SMBX.
