Ahoy thar! I be Captain Calamity, and I am in dire straights.

You see, I am in the process of a level I call "Sol Temple," and it features SMB3 graphics and a spacey/sunny feel. However... I can't exactly figure out what to make the general graphics look like.

I'm not sure where to put this, because it's not asking for graphics, but general graphical designs. But it's a request, and it's about graphics, so I figure I should put it in the Graphic Requests forum.

Also, I'm back. For now.

You should check out Sol Sanctum from Golden Sun. That should get you a pretty good sun temple theme, and it's kinda spacey as well.

Doesn't really give a warm feeling you'd expect from the sun, but it works as a space temple theme.
