How did I became a registered COPPA user?

I don't remember at all, did it just moved me into that group or what?

Coppa users are people that are 14 years old or younger, i think.

As someone said, the COPPA users are a group where there are all the user with 13- years ago.

COPPA users are restricted to certain actions on the forum. New topics posted by them usually have to be approved, and they also have to have parental consent sent to the admin team to actually use the forum. COPPA is an act written in the USA, and any website that has a forum which is located in the USA must follow this act. (If I remember correctly)

As XerX said, if you are below the age of 13 you will need to have parental consent before you can post in the forums. This is mainly for the protection of children's privacy.
